Happy New Year! We are thrilled to be sharing with you our quarterly newsletter, DEEP CUTS. In this edition, we have rounded up a few bite-sized highlights from each SMART region from 2021 as well a new and exciting things that are coming up in 2022.
Over in New Zealand, where SMART first started, we have recently been seeing some great developments with the local hardware chain, Bunnings. Due to high demand from end-users, the chain now has over 40 SMART SKUs, including the new “Box Cutter” and the 4- and 8-piece assortments from the Blue Professional range.
Take a trip back to the United Kingdom, where we have been busy getting our glam on for a new company video. Furthermore, we recently decided to make some important changes in our warehouse. Due to the high demand of UK-made Starlock blades, we have expanded the assembly area. This could significantly reduce wait times so end-users can get their hands on our locally made blades even quicker! If you’re curious about marketing and social media, be sure to check out the success story of the UK team on how they managed to launch SMART in Ireland through Facebook and Instagram.
Speaking of launches, we are happy to announce that SMART has officially kicked off in Iceland! After a hefty delay due to the pandemic, the local hardware chain Húsasmiðjan now has a great range of SMART products in stock for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts in this stunning island in the north.
If you were disappointed to hear about the postponement of the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, let’s turn that frown upside down and get you hyped for Nordbygg, the biggest trade fair for the building and construction industry in Europe. It will take place in Stockholm, Sweden.
