From the word go, we needed to ensure that pairing a multi-tool with the SMART range would become the ultimate answer to whatever problem a tradesperson faces. The team at SMART knew that we had to cover a wide range of applications across a variety of different materials. Our vast catalogue of blades and accessories caters to those working with wood, metal, drywall, and more.
The SMART Made in Britain launch was an important milestone for us and the industry as a whole. Not only does it allow us to support UK Industry while localising our supply chain, but it also marks the very first UK-made multi-tool blade (both product and packaging) on the market.
We have not been quiet about the ongoing transition we are making with our packaging. On the surface, it may seem like a simple transition, moving from plastic blister packs to cardboard boxes. However, the sheer amount of work that went into ensuring that the packaging not only its visual appeal but also its effectiveness at keeping the product secure was immense. Design after design was created and rejected before we settled on a winner. That being a box that looked good, would hold the product securely, and could be transported with ease.
Our content creation has been key to our brand awareness. Not only do we keep our pages updated, we also create high-quality video content. These videos are not limited to simple showcases. Instead, we have produced guides and tutorials, to help users get the most out of their multi-tool blades. The culmination of this has been the SMART 101 Uses for a Multi-Tool Series, a project that has spanned the last several years.
